University of Findlay’s Mazza Museum Celebrates Black History Month With New Exhibit

Extremely honored that this piece of art from “Ellen Craft’s Escape from Slavery,” written by Cathy Moore and published by Millbrook Press, is now included in this institution’s permanent collection. It is incredibly humbling that Dan Chudzinski, the curator, chose to debut this acquisition in this important show and to share the walls with so many highly talented and recognized artists. Thank you, Dan, the Mazza Museum, the staff, and the generous donors that make this thrill possible. If you’re ever in the vicinity of Findlay, Ohio, you should visit to see one of the world’s most extensive collections of art created for children’s books. You won’t be disappointed.
